The Café de Flore is a nice old coffee bar in Paris, France. It can be found in Saint-Germain-des-Prés close to the famous Boulevard Saint-Germain and is a second home to different intellectuals. It exists since 1887.
Simone de Beauvoir, Jean-Paule Sartre, Alberto Giacometti and Pablo Picasso were frequent guests here. Karl Lagerfeld sometimes drops in. Every year the Prixe de Flore founded by Frédéric Beigbeder is given here to young authors.
