I once decided to have a vacation with a good friend of mine and therefore we booked an away home in Lübeck-Travemünde, Germany. Travemünde is a part of Lübeck close to the sea. You can easily reach it by train from the main railway station of Lübeck.
Travemünde offers a nice beach and is well known for its harbour where ships to Scandinavia leave. Most iconic are the hugh Hotel Maritim and the ship Passat anchoring in the harbor. It is a nice place for a beach vacation and you can addition easily visit the beautiful city center of Lübeck.
